Meet Kenneth Cheng, Sales Manager Asia
What do you enjoy most about working at Ex-Change Parts?
What I love most is the energy of the team. Everyone is self-driven, which means we’re quick, responsive, and always one step ahead in customer service. It’s inspiring to work with people who are passionate and proactive.
Management truly invests in our growth, offering real opportunities to learn and develop. I feel seen, supported, and motivated.
We also know our products inside out, which allows us to deliver technical support that customers can trust. This expertise sets us apart and builds strong relationships.
And of course, being part of a company with over 25 years in the helicopter parts industry gives me a huge sense of pride. We’re known for quality, speed, and value—and that reputation is something I’m proud to be part of every day.
Describe the company culture in three words:
Dynamic. Exciting. Fun.
What does the helicopter industry mean to you?
For me, it’s full of opportunity—especially here in Asia, where the market is young and growing fast. It’s exciting to be part of that growth and represent Ex-Change Parts on the frontlines.
At the same time, helicopters are a niche within aviation, which means deep expertise really matters. I see this role as a chance to specialize and master my craft. As Jack Ma says, by 40 you should be an expert—and Ex-Change Parts gives me the platform to do just that.
What makes Ex-Change Parts stand out as an employer?
Ex-Change Parts genuinely respects your personal time. After hours, on leave—you’re off the clock, and that’s honored. With a strong support system in place, customers are still looked after, so the team never feels burned out.
We also have a real "work hard, play hard" spirit. Management puts effort into creating a social, connected culture where friendships thrive, which makes working together even better.
Everyone’s voice is valued here. Whether it’s feedback, new ideas, or concerns—you’re encouraged to speak up. That openness fuels innovation and makes us all feel part of something bigger.
On top of that, leadership trusts us. That trust gives us ownership and purpose, which is incredibly empowering.
How does the company support work-life balance and well-being?
We walk the talk. No messages after hours or on leave days. Management even reminds us to take time off when we haven’t—because recharging matters.
We also get subsidies for sports gear and team fitness events throughout the year, which keep us active and connected.
Leadership stays close—not to micromanage, but to check in. That human touch makes a big difference in how supported we feel.
Any advice for someone considering joining?
Speak up! Especially if you’re from a culture where that’s not the norm—your voice matters here.
Come in curious, stay hungry to learn. You’ll be surrounded by people willing to share their experience.
And yes—be ready to socialize! We’re a team that works hard and celebrates harder. From casual fikas to legendary parties, fun is part of the culture.
If you're looking for a place where you can grow, laugh, and do meaningful work—this is it
